Welcome to the Artist Marketing Salon blog
(poster available at the Andy Warhol Museum store)
Artists will find useful information here–this blog is a reference library of sorts…
There are lots of links and Calls to submit and some advice, if you take a look around. I add new Calls regularly–sometimes daily…
So check back often–I am working toward a *subscribe to this blog* option feature…
Also, I remove items as the deadline for submissions passes, but try to place the link to the site in the blog roll, so if you are searching for something that’s been removed, check the blog roll…
Yes, the site needs a lot of work, but keep in mind that it is more a repository to aid your own self-directed art promotion and artist marketing…
The more effort you put into your research, the more return. If you start out spending one hour per day checking the web-links here and acting upon those that feel right to you, you will make lots of progress …
Best wishes…
Marie Kazalia
I began February 2009 for the Artist Marketing Salon group on the art social media website http://www.b-uncut.net.

Zatista’s traffic is less than 50 visitors a day?
http://www.statbrain.com/www.zatista.com/
Zatista charges an 18% commish and they sure don’t spend it on creating sales for their artists. Time is money for artists, how can anyone afford this when there are better designed and less expensive commission art sites that buyers actually visit on the web?
