Welcome to the Artist Marketing Salon blog
(poster available at the Andy Warhol Museum store)
Artists will find useful information here–this blog is a reference library of sorts…
There are lots of links and Calls to submit and some advice, if you take a look around. I add new Calls regularly–sometimes daily…
So check back often–I am working toward a *subscribe to this blog* option feature…
Also, I remove items as the deadline for submissions passes, but try to place the link to the site in the blog roll, so if you are searching for something that’s been removed, check the blog roll…
Yes, the site needs a lot of work, but keep in mind that it is more a repository to aid your own self-directed art promotion and artist marketing…
The more effort you put into your research, the more return. If you start out spending one hour per day checking the web-links here and acting upon those that feel right to you, you will make lots of progress …
Best wishes…

Hi,
My name is Paige Welborn, and I found your blog when I was looking for online blogs for artists. I’m working with http://www.XeroWorld.com, a new social network for entertainment and arts professionals and emerging artists.
We’d love to feature your blog in our “Inside the Business” section, which is designed to give artists practical career-related tips. Your content is very helpful, practical, and personal. We can, of course, link back to your original blog to drive traffic there as well. We’d love to increase your readership by featuring your content on our site.
XeroWorld.com’s goals are to create synergy across all artistic disciplines, to create space for artists to show their work, meet other artists, collaborate, and generally improve their careers.
We hope XeroWorld.com will become the premier social network for the entertainment industry. We are inviting experts, like you, to feature your blog entries, to create original articles, or to record video tips for the “Inside the Business” section.
We’d love to hear back from you regarding a potential partnership or cross-promotional opportunities. Please check out our site at http://www.xeroworld.com, and if you have questions about the site, I’m happy to answer them!
Hope to hear from you soon!
Best regards,
Paige
